Please someone save my sanity and tell me I'm worrying over nothing What am I doing wrong, is theta something wrong with him? I'm just conference now, I feel pressured off the school and without making excuses I find it difficult to make time sometimes as me and my husband work opposite shifts, so when I'm working late he's with the kids, also with my 17month old running round it's difficult to concentrate on anything! I just wanted to see if anyone else has ever had this problem, my son started school this sept and turned 5 last week, ever since I've known he's never been interested in colouring or doodling etc, now he's at school he's havibg difficulty writing and can't spell properly, his concentration is very limited basically if he isn't interested in something he won't make an effort(I was like that, if I didn't like a subject I'd switch off) now school have sent a letter home asking us to spend tine with on a daily basis learning him to hold a pencil and write hs name, we've tried lots of diff things, aqua doodle (to try and get him interested in writing drawing etc) drawing him pics of his gave things to colour, even my husbands friends wife (a teacher herself) sent us some tracing paper over a normal sheet with his name and a green dot where to start and red where to finish, also to learn how to hold a pencil, a triangle shaped rubber thing which goes on the pencil (fantastic idea) yet h still holds it with his fist clenched.
